Maintenance

What your contract covers, before you sign it

In this sector, people sign contracts nobody has read to the end, and then invoices arrive that nobody expected. Here are our three levels in full: what each one includes, what it doesn't, and what happens when something breaks. No need to ask, and no need to leave your phone number.

Comparison

The three levels, item by item

Every level includes preventive maintenance and the safety check required by law. The difference between them is who pays when something breaks.

Repairs are always carried out provided the necessary parts are available. In installations with obsolete materials that are no longer manufactured, a repair may not be possible; if so, we’ll tell you and give you alternatives.

Services not included in the contract are invoiced separately, and we always let you know first.

Add-ons

And whatever you'd like to add on top

The following three add-ons are contracted separately and work with any of the three levels.

24-hour rescue

We free anyone trapped in the lift car 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, included in every contract and within 60 minutes at most.

Saturdays and public holidays

We also attend breakdowns on Saturdays and public holidays, within working hours. Any parts that need replacing are charged to you, just as under the level you have contracted.

GSM line and telemetry

The lift car's emergency phone with its own line. It also enables telemetry and remote monitoring: the lift reports its status to us and alerts us to a problem before you notice it.

Safety

The CPSI safety programme

On top of maintenance, every installation joins our safety programme. It isn't an extra you pay for: it's how we work.

Two safety inspections a year

On each one we check the condition of the lift and carry out real functional tests on the systems that can cause harm if they fail:

  • The door interlocks — so a door can’t open if the lift car isn’t there.
  • The overspeed governor and the safety gear — the system that stops the lift car if it descends too fast.
  • The traction machine’s braking system.
  • The electrical safety switches.

A thorough inspection every five years

Every five years we inspect the entire installation with advanced testing equipment and specialist staff. We don’t just identify risks: we take corrective action to eliminate them.

How to choose

Which one suits you?

IM-I

Choose IM-I if…

Your lift is recent or newly modernised, the community would rather pay less each month and cover repairs as they come, and you have a reserve fund to pay for them.

IM-II

Choose IM-II if…

You want to cover what breaks most often. Most lift breakdowns are electrical and involve small components: push buttons, contacts, fuses, lamps. This level takes care of all of them.

IM-III

Choose IM-III if…

You never want to take a repair bill to an owners' meeting again. Or the lift is getting on in years and you'd prefer a fixed, predictable cost. Or it's critical to a business and a stoppage costs you more than any contract.

Not sure?

Quote

What we need to give you a quote

Five details and we’ll prepare a tailored offer. They’re the same ones our commercial offer asks for, so we won’t ask you for anything extra.

Don't know your RAE number? It's the lift's number in the Lift Equipment Register (Registro de Aparatos Elevadores) and is usually on the plate in the lift car or on the latest inspection certificate. If you can't find it, we'll look it up for you.

  • Building address
  • Community's tax ID (CIF)
  • Number of residents
  • Number of floors
  • RAE number

Frequently asked questions about maintenance

How often do you come to service the lift?

Maintenance visits are monthly; the frequency can be adjusted depending on the contract level.

What happens if a part that isn't on the list breaks?

With IM-III, practically everything needed to get the lift running again is covered, labour included. With IM-I and IM-II, anything not in the table is quoted separately and we always let you know before doing anything.

What if my lift is very old?

We maintain it just the same. The only limitation is physical: if a part is no longer made and there’s no spare on the market, it can’t be repaired. In that case we’ll tell you clearly and give you modernisation options.

Do you maintain lifts from other manufacturers?

Yes. We’re fully multi-brand: we maintain lifts from any manufacturer.

What if my building has more than 6 floors?

We set no limits on height or number of floors: we tailor the contract to your installation.

Can I change level later on?

Yes. We adapt your contract level to whatever you need at any given time.

How long is the contract? Is there a minimum term?

We explain the duration and conditions clearly before you sign, with no small print.

What happens if the lift stops on a Sunday?

If someone is trapped inside, call 876 54 10 12 and we’ll come, whether or not you have the 24-hour add-on: getting a person out of a lift car is not up for debate. If nobody is inside, the repair is handled according to the add-on you have.

Let's talk

Shall we compare it with what you have now?

Send us your current contract. We'll tell you what it covers, what it's missing, which of our three levels is equivalent and how they differ. In writing and with no obligation.

Or call us on 930 221 313. If someone is trapped in the lift car, the number is 876 54 10 12.
