Homeowners

So no one in your family gets left downstairs

A lift, a platform lift or a stairlift for your home. We come round, take a look and tell you what will genuinely fit. No obligation, and no need to decide anything on the day.

The three things everyone asks us

Will it fit in my home?

It's always the first question, and it can't be answered over the phone. It depends on the staircase, the space, the structure and things that need to be seen in person. That's why the visit is free: without going, any answer would be a guess.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need. A stairlift and a home lift are nothing alike. What we can tell you is that there are public grants for this, and hardly anyone applies because hardly anyone knows they exist.

How much building work is involved?

Less than you'd imagine, almost always. A stairlift is fitted to the staircase you already have, with no building work. A platform lift needs very little. A home lift is a different matter, and we'll tell you so plainly.

Your options

Stairlift on its rail over a flight of steps, product view

Stairlift

Fitted to your existing staircase, straight or curved. It's the quickest option and the one that needs the least work. In many cases it's installed in a single day.

Who it's for: Indoor staircases, ground floors with a few steps, situations where building work isn't possible.

Open vertical platform lift with the door mounted on the platform itself, bridging a few steps

Platform lift

Carries the person up in their wheelchair, or standing. It needs little space and little work, and can cover anything from a few steps to several floors.

Who it's for: Wheelchair users, entrance halls with steps, changes in level at the entrance.

Modern glass home lift integrated into a home

Home lift

A proper lift for a detached house. It's the most complete solution and the one that needs the most work, but it's also the one that solves the problem for good.

Who it's for: Houses with two or more floors where you want a permanent solution.

For moving things, not people. Kitchens, pantries, wine cellars.

Grants and financing

There are grants for this, and hardly anyone applies

In Catalonia there are public accessibility grants from the Generalitat and from a number of local councils. They cover a significant part of the installation, and many people never apply simply because they don’t know they exist.

We’ll tell you which ones you can apply for based on where you live and your circumstances, and we’ll guide you through the process.

How the process works

  1. 01

You call us or fill in the form

No obligation. We just want to understand what you need and where you live.

  2. 02

We come and take a look

A technician visits your home, takes measurements, looks at the staircase and tells you what your real options are. Free of charge.

  3. 03

We give you a tailored proposal and the grants

In writing, with the recommended solution and the grants you can apply for. So you can see what it would really involve in your case.

  4. 04

    You decide whenever you're ready

No rush. The quote doesn't expire in three days, and we won't be ringing you every week.

One visit, no obligation, no rush.

We come to your home, take measurements and tell you what can genuinely be done. You decide, in your own time.

Maintenance

And afterwards, we don't disappear

What we install, we maintain. With the same three contract levels we offer communities of owners, adapted to a home installation, and the same 24-hour rescue number.

Because the trouble with buying a platform lift from someone who only sells platform lifts is that, the day it breaks down, there’s no one to call.

Frequently asked questions

How long does installation take?

A straight stairlift usually takes a day. A curved one has to be made to measure and takes a few weeks. A platform lift or a home lift depends on the building work. We’ll give you realistic timescales at the visit.

What does the cost depend on?

It depends on the type of solution (a stairlift is not the same as a home lift), on your staircase and on the work required. That’s why we come and look before saying anything: so we can give you a real figure, not a rough estimate that changes later. And we deduct any grants you may be eligible for.

Do I need permission to install it?

If it’s inside your own detached house, you usually don’t need anyone’s agreement. If you live in a building and it affects communal areas, it has to go through the community of owners. We’ll help you work out which applies to you.

Does it work during a power cut?

Yes. Stairlifts and platform lifts have batteries, so they keep working during a power cut.

What if my staircase is curved or very narrow?

There are solutions for curved staircases and for narrow ones. They’re made to measure. That’s why we need to come and see it.

Can I remove it if one day I no longer need it?

Yes, stairlifts can be removed without leaving a trace on the staircase.
