Cookie policy
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies are used to make the site work, to remember your preferences or to obtain information.
Types of cookies
Depending on who manages them, cookies may be first-party (DBS Elevación’s own) or third-party. Depending on their duration, they may be session or persistent cookies. Depending on their purpose, they may be technical or strictly necessary, preference, analytics or marketing cookies.
Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare (via Kinsta, our hosting provider) | Distinguishes legitimate traffic from bots to protect the site | 30 minutes | Technical (third-party) |
| dbs_cookie_consent | DBS | Remembers your cookie choice (stored in the browser’s local storage, not as a cookie) | Until you clear your browser data | Technical |
| wordpress_test_cookie | DBS (WordPress) | Checks that the browser accepts cookies (only on the site’s admin login) | Session | Technical |
| _ga | Google (Google Analytics) | Distinguishes visitors anonymously to produce usage statistics | 2 years | Analytics (third-party, only if you accept) |
| _ga_4XZ82FSZ9Z | Google (Google Analytics) | Keeps the state of the visit for statistics | 2 years | Analytics (third-party, only if you accept) |
Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie notice; if you reject them, Google Analytics is not loaded. We do not use advertising or social media cookies. Links to WhatsApp take you to a Meta service, which applies its own cookie policy when you open it.
How to manage or disable cookies
You can accept or reject cookies from the notice that appears when you enter the site, and change your choice at any time using this link. You can also manage them through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Rejecting non-technical cookies does not prevent you from browsing the site.
Consent
Non-technical cookies are only installed if you give your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
