As part of the reorganisation of the Schindler Group in Spain, Ascensores Servel has transferred its business in the Valencian Community to División de Mantenimiento Tremon, the group company based there. The idea? For each company to serve its own region, with resources closer to the customer.
The reason: each region, with its own team
Servel worked in two regions: Catalonia and the Valencian Community. Tremon, on the other hand, operates only in Valencia. So it made perfect sense for the Valencian business to be run by the team based there. With this transfer:
- Customers in Valencia are now looked after by a local team, with resources closer at hand.
- Cross-regional servicing and duplicated paperwork are avoided.
- Each company focuses its management where it actually provides its service.
What is being transferred
The lift maintenance contracts Servel held in the Valencian Community pass to Tremon, together with the modernisation works under way and the material and human resources linked to that business. All designed so that the service in Valencia continues seamlessly and becomes more local.
What it means for Catalonia
If your building is in Catalonia, this is good news: DBS Elevación is putting all its resources into the region it knows best. We provide coverage across the whole of Catalonia —from the Penedès to the Vallès, and from Tarragona to Girona—, with the personal service of a local company and the backing of a global manufacturer behind us.
This reorganisation by region is the other side of the same coin as the integration of Servel into DBS: less structure, more service, and every team focused on its own area.
